The quality/price relation is unbeatable. Good location, very close to the beach, on the main street of Lamai beach. Complimentary bottles of water and coffee and tea everyday. Good and cheap laundry service.
Wifi connection could improve a lot, very unstable, very slow at times.

The Thai couple were lovely and helpful. Its a couple minute's walk to the beach and Lamai shops, markets and bars etc. I would recommend this hotel because the staff are lovely, it is close and cheap.
I didn't like being asked if I or my partner wanted suits, one of the ladies working on reception was offering her husbands services. We weren't there for that and when you walk the streets in Lamai, everyone is harassing you about suits. So it is not necessary to do so in the hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. Complimentary tea and coffee all day and night. Room very clean and comfortable, bathroom very clean also. 1 minute walk to the beach. Free bottles of water each day. Lots of shops, bars, restaurants around but not noisy at all. very close to the night markets. Lovely Indian Tandoori restaurant less than 5 minute walk away.
If we had to be picky, we would say that the pool is very small and not well located. If we wanted to use it we would have been very hesitant as it is literally at the reception area. But with the beach so close this didn't matter at all.

Great value for money, for a low price you get a very clean and comfortable room. The staff is very friendly, location is very good, not in a crowded place, close to the beach.
Ants in room, very friendly though :)

The ever smiling staff, only two minutes walk to the beautiful beach and around 5 minutes walk to the centre of Lamai - very good value for money!
There were some misunderstandings due to staffs poor English.

Amarina is a spotless place, wifi work well, and fast!....that's it!
...Well,no character at all!, You have to choose, privacy,or light.... The windowed entrance face directly to other rooms,so, if you want keep your room bright, anyone can watch inside your room!,.. If privacy is what you need,... Then you have to close the curtains, and even in sunny afternoon you need to switch on all lights!!...very depressing in a place like Lamai!!... For this price(i got studio room) you can get much better rooms around, brither, and maybe also with private balcony! I chose Amarina for it's good reviews...but,..??? I really don't understand how people could reviewed this place with such enthusiasm! Ok,enough!...CiaoCiao!

Very clean, quiet hotel, run by a very nice, helpful family. Organised trips to theme parks, taxis, etc, without a problem. Hotel is located at the quieter end of Lamai, about 2 minutes walk from boxing ring/food market area. Free internet, both desktop in foyer or wifi on your own device. Good sized safety box for your valuables.
The only thing that was missing in the rooms were internal telephones. It would have made contact with friends staying in other rooms a whole lot easier and contact with reception easier also. If you would like a dip in the pool, think again, since the pool is only a little bigger than an average bathtub. No breakfast is served but a coupe of cafe's are only a 30 second walk away.

Lovely hotel. Good value for the price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only stayed for 1 night as was travelling around but would have stayed longer otherwise. Good location - short walk from beach and close to shops and night food market and staff very nice.

I stayed at Amarina Hotel for 4 nights it was very clean, modern and spacious, close walking distance to the beach. They provide free WiFi and use of computer
The indoor pool was very small, can turn it into a fish pond.
